Where we are are….
Today we cleaning up the post-production work for Red. Namrata, Jennie and Takako spent a good deal of time doing the last minute shots that we were waiting to shoot when we knew that everything was in the clear. I was in compositing heaven (hell) for several hours and now Jennie and I are adding some fun, dramatic music! It’s all coming together finally. Some things that we realized are that we shot too fast in general, we not totally in control of the camera’s shakiness and the lighting could use a little work. We all like the quirkiness of the characters and the project in general.
Inside the Wolf
Our first actual shoot. Man- building sets, cutting paper and making all sorts of puppets took forever! This looks great. Do you guys think it’s a little fast? I left a larger entry about details on the class blog. Tell me if you want me to edit.

PIZZA TIME!!!
Puppet Progress: Grandpa + Wolfette
Hi all! I finished refining the puppets for grandpa and wolfette! Instead of creating the nightgown for the wolfette, I decided to keep it simple by wrapping a quilt-like handkerchief to be used as a shawl. Jennie, I added more clay onto the back of the head for grandpa. Here are some photos of the two puppets interacting with eachother:
See you all at the lab 🙂
Cheers,
Takako
